Richter Ultrasonic Continuous Acquisition System

A continuous data acquisition and streaming system for microseismic and acoustic emission monitoring to record the full fracturing history.

  • Performs continuous data streaming direct to hard drive at frequencies up to 10MHz.
  • Recording time length is only limited by the hard-drive disk space available; longer recording times can be achieved with larger hard drive space or networked SAN.
  • Can be operated in continuous or triggered acquisition modes; triggering can be performed by the OMNIBUS Trigger and Hit-Count unit.
  • Constructed from up to 10 ‘mini-systems’ consisting each of a 19” rack mountable chassis containing a high-performance PC with a 4-channel PCI data-acquisition card.
  • A full system can provide up to 40 channels with continuous streaming at 10 MHz or 39 channels standard triggering when combined with a Trigger and Hit-Counter unit.
  • ASC’s eXstream software allows the use of the mini-systems independently, or as a set of master-slaves, both in streaming and triggering modes.
  • The InSite software provides processing and visualisation modules for the continuous streams and real-time data import and processing for the triggered mode.
